The Charlottesville Free Clinic is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. We depend on donations, grants and fundraising events to meet our annual operating expenses of $700,000. The CFC receives no federal funding and modest grants from state and local government. The majority of our funds come from donations from individuals, foundations, churches, businesses and civic groups, and through fundraising events.

State employees can support the Charlottesville Free Clinic through the annual Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign. The CFC's charity number is 3739.
