The Charlottesville Free Clinic has provided crucial healthcare services for over three decades to uninsured and underinsured members of our community. In 2023, we provided more than 8,200 visits to over 2,600 individuals. Despite this, there are still over 12,000 individuals in the area who lack access to affordable healthcare.

The need for the Free Clinic continues, so we must continue to expand our capacity. This week we broke ground at 901 Preston Avenue, in the Wellness Center, to be converted into 6 additional operatories for our Dental Clinic and Integrated Care Practice. By expanding the Free Clinic, we can provide an additional 2,300 visits for dental and integrated care in the first year alone.
