Since 1992, the Free Clinic has expanded to meet the ever evolving needs of our patients. Through community partnerships, we extend our care to comprehensive care for our neighbors most in need. Financial health impacts both physical and mental health. This year, we are grateful for our Tax Aid collaboration with the United Way-Thomas Jefferson Area and Madison House in presenting onsite free tax preparation for our patients.
Providing income verification ensures that we can continue to provide free medication to our patients. To participate in national pharmacy drug donation programs, we are required to submit proof of income. Programs such as Tax Aid provide an important community service as well as assist our patients in providing us with the information we need to help them manage chronic health issues.
Sharing resources in our community helps our working neighbors become more financially secure, allowing them to live healthier, more productive lives.
