Volunteer Vittles
At the Charlottesville Free Clinic, dinner is provided to fuel the volunteer healthcare providers for the medical clinics year round. Many volunteers are coming to the Free Clinic after working a full shift at UVA, Sentara Martha Jefferson, or a private practice here in town. Having a freshly prepared meal ready for them is just one of the ways to say “Thank you!” for all of the work that they do to keep our community healthy and strong.

How we can help you:
The Charlottesville Free Clinic provides health care at no cost to nearly 3,000 Charlottesville area residents. Over 70% of our medical patients are employed, many of them in the food, beverage, and hospitality sector. According to our 2019 survey, 1-in-6 of all of our patients surveyed worked in a restaurant. If you are struggling to find health care for you or your staff, the Free Clinic is here to help. Visit one of our pages below, or call (434)296-5525.
