Monthly donors provide steady, reliable support that allows the free clinic to plan ahead and sustain essential services year-round. Their ongoing contributions help ensure that patients can continue to access quality medical, dental, and mental health care—no matter their circumstances. To donate by phone using a credit or debit card, please call 434-295-8970 to reach someone in our Development Office. To donate directly to the Free Clinic by mail, please mail your check to: 

Donor-Advised Fund (DAF)

A donor advised fund (DAF) is like a charitable savings account that gives you the flexibility to recommend grants to qualified nonprofits such as the Charlottesville Free Clinic. Click here to donate through your existing Fidelity Charitable, BNY Mellon, or a DAFgiving360 account, or simply provide the information found below to your fund advisor.

Gifts of Stock & Securities

A gift of stock not only provides you with a tax deduction for the fair market value of your donation—it also helps build a healthier, stronger community, one share at a time. The Free Clinic Development Office is happy to speak directly with your broker or financial adviser to facilitate the gift.

Employer Matching Programs

Many employers offer workplace giving programs that make it easy to support qualifying nonprofits—and some even match employees’ donations, doubling the impact. You can check with your company's HR departments to see if your workplace participates.  

Legacy Giving

Legacy giving allows supporters to make a lasting difference by including the Free Clinic in their estate or will planning. These thoughtful gifts ensure that future generations will continue to have access to compassionate, quality healthcare, regardless of their ability to pay, thereby making a commitment to a healthier community for years to come. Honorary & Tribute Donations

Donating in honor or in memory of someone is a meaningful way to celebrate their life or legacy while making a difference in your community. These tribute gifts support the ongoing work of the nonprofit and help provide care and services to those in need. In Kind Donations

In-kind donations—such as goods, services, or professional expertise—play a vital role in helping the Free Clinic stretch resources and better serve our community. Whether it’s medical supplies or dinner for volunteers these contributions directly support our mission and make our work possible.
